The main components of 2A50 aluminum alloy (formerly known as LD5) are copper (1.8-2.6%), magnesium (0.4-0.8%), and silicon (0.7-1.2%).

Both 2A11 (LY11) and 2A12 aluminum alloys belong to the Al-Cu-Mg series of hard aluminum alloys, possessing moderate strength, good ductility, and heat treatment strengthening capabilities.

2A11: Tensile strength ≥370MPa, yield strength ≥215%, elongation ≥12%, good spot weldability, but prone to cracking during gas welding/argon arc welding.

2A12: Tensile strength ≥390MPa, yield strength ≥255%, elongation ≥10%, suitable for high-strength applications such as aerospace structural components.
