2A50 Aluminum Tubes2A50 aluminum alloy tube is a heat-treatable forged aluminum tube with excellent ductility, moderate strength, and good corrosion resistance. It is widely used in the power, petrochemical, shipbuilding, machinery, and special vehicle component manufacturing industries. The main components of 2A50 aluminum alloy (formerly known as LD5) are copper (1.8-2.6%), magnesium (0.4-0.8%), and silicon (0.7-1.2%).- Large Diameter High Strength 2A11 2A12 Aluminium PipeBoth 2A11 (LY11) and 2A12 aluminum alloys belong to the Al-Cu-Mg series of hard aluminum alloys, possessing moderate strength, good ductility, and heat treatment strengthening capabilities.
2A11: Tensile strength ≥370MPa, yield strength ≥215%, elongation ≥12%, good spot weldability, but prone to cracking during gas welding/argon arc welding.
2A12: Tensile strength ≥390MPa, yield strength ≥255%, elongation ≥10%, suitable for high-strength applications such as aerospace structural components.
Diameter range: Commonly supplied outer diameters are 8–200mm,
some manufacturers can customize large-diameter pipes of 200–500mm.
