Material characteristics
The 2000 series aluminum tube is represented by 2024 alloy, which contains about 4.4% copper, 1.5% magnesium, and 0.6% manganese. It is a heat-treatable high-strength aluminum alloy. Its strength can be further improved by heat treatment, and its fatigue resistance and formability are excellent, but its corrosion resistance is weak, and surface treatment (such as anodizing) is required to extend its service life.
Application scenarios
It is mainly used in the aviation industry, such as aircraft structural parts, truck parts and other fields with high strength requirements. Some models (such as 2A16) are also used in high temperature environments

2A50 Aluminum Tubes2A50 aluminum alloy tube is a heat-treatable forged aluminum tube with excellent ductility, moderate strength, and good corrosion resistance. It is widely used in the power, petrochemical, shipbuilding, machinery, and special vehicle component manufacturing industries. The main components of 2A50 aluminum alloy (formerly known as LD5) are copper (1.8-2.6%), magnesium (0.4-0.8%), and silicon (0.7-1.2%).- Large Diameter High Strength 2A11 2A12 Aluminium PipeBoth 2A11 (LY11) and 2A12 aluminum alloys belong to the Al-Cu-Mg series of hard aluminum alloys, possessing moderate strength, good ductility, and heat treatment strengthening capabilities.
